Mr. Krishnan has a broad corporate practice, advising private equity sponsors, growth equity investors, startups and other public and private companies and investors in a range of domestic and cross-border transactional matters. Prior to joining Jasso Lopez PLLC, Mr. Krishnan worked as a corporate lawyer at leading firms in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, including Goodwin Procter LLP in Los Angeles, Paul Hastings LLP in Orange County, California and CMS in London.
Mr. Krishnan is admitted to practice law in California and in England & Wales (Solicitor).
Practice Focus
Mr. Krishnan’s practice has included advising a wide range of investors and other business clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, minority equity investments, financing rounds, employee incentive matters, restructuring and various other corporate and commercial matters. Mr. Krishnan’s practice spans a diverse range of industries and sectors, including technology M&A and software-as-a-service and energy. Prior recent transactions include representing:
- Kelly Services, Inc. on its up to $485m acquisition of Motion Recruitment.
- A private equity sponsor on a $50m leveraged buyout of a renewable fuels company.
- A portfolio company of a private equity fund on its $725m acquisition of a technology company*.
- A US blue chip on various minority and growth equity investments and disposal transactions.*
- A private equity fund on its $225m acquisition of a renewable energy company.*
- Various US and European startups on investment and equity financing matters.
- Various management teams in connection with leveraged buyouts and incentive equity matters.
